Inez Linke and Levent Piker interviewed about sustainability at oceanBASIS

The sea, the great “blue pharmacy”, is a huge source of biological diversity and potent agents; it is a weather maker and extremely important for our climate. Therefore – and of course also because the sea is simply beautiful – we must treat it with respect.

Inez and Levent are part of the team behind Natural Cosmetics from the Sea and are its founders. oceanBASIS aims at a sustainable use of the oceans, especially the power of algae, to benefit human health and to produce gentle, effective and sustainable care products. What drives the team, why exactly are algae good for health, what are the challenges of establishing a young natural cosmetics label? Loreen and Steffen asked Inez and Levent about that.
